Members of the public are invited to the launch of “Bridging Public Investment and Social Value: An examination of the supports for the Social Economy on Prince Edward Island,” on Monday, April 7th. Communications specialist Barbara Groome-Wynne will present the results of her study, at the Faculty Lounge, Main Building, on the UPEI Campus from 12:30 pm to 1:00 pm, this will be followed by refreshments. The full report will be released including findings from a public workshop that was held November 2007 in Charlottetown. A new book of policy documents “Pulling Strings,” which has recently been published by Island Studies Press will also be available for purchase."
