Innovation in Canada: Summary Report—Charlottetown Innovation Summit: "Representatives from four dynamic and successful Island firms provided excellent illustrations of real-life innovation challenges, relating them back to the key challenge areas outlined in the Innovation Strategy. Each voiced their belief that the Island was an excellent place to do business and to foster innovation, in part due to the quality of life and the closeness of the community. Each emphasized the need for representatives of all Island sectors to work together to advance the Strategy and innovation in general in P.E.I. Speakers and expert panelists included Dr. Tony Lucas, CEO of BioVectra dcl, Gretha Rose, President of Cellar Door Productions, Mark Victor, Senior Project Engineer, Atlantech Engineering and Associates Inc., and Alan Andreason, President of Fortius Natural Nutrition. Their presentations set the stage for the afternoon breakout sessions, in which participants provided excellent suggestions on priorities for addressing innovation on Prince Edward Island."
